How to Submit an Application for Renewal

Note: Renewal applications will not be accepted after March 31 of the following year. (For example, for a certificate that expires on September 30, 2012, renewal applications will only be accepted up to March 31, 2013 for that renewal period.)

Renewal Process and Forms

Read the instructions on the renewal form carefully. The form must be typed or printed clearly in ink. No form will be processed if incomplete or improperly completed and will be returned to you for corrections, so carefully read and answer all appropriate questions.

Submit no later than August 17:

• Completed and notarized Renewal Application
• Appropriate fees
• Continuing education documentation (Required in odd numbered years. May be deferred for reciprocal licensees upon demonstrating possession of a current appraiser certificate and good standing status in state of domicile.)
