About the Board of Barber Examiners

The Board of Barber Examiners protects the public through regulation of barbering in the State of South Dakota. The Board oversees all barbers and barbershops licensed in the state. The Board administers and enforces its regulations regarding licensing requirements. The Board receives, investigates and adjudicates complaints against unlicensed and licensed practitioners.
