Job Search Assistance Program (JSAP) - A free workshop for people recovering from job loss or enhancing their job search skills. Trained instructors speak on modern-day techniques used to successfully find employment. Topics covered are: resume and cover letter writing, interviewing etiquette, networking effectively, using social media and much more. Layoff assistance - Various services to help those who have been laid off for whatever reason to find new employment

Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) - The Senior Community Service Employment Program is a community service and work-based job-training program for older Americans who are at least 55, unemployed, and have a family income of no more than 125 percent of the federal poverty level.

SCSEP participants gain work experience in a variety of community service activities at non-profit and public facilities, including schools, hospitals, day-care centers and senior centers. Participants work an average of 20 hours a week, and are paid the highest of federal, state or local minimum wage. This training serves as a bridge to unsubsidized employment opportunities for participants.

Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) [formerly Food Stamps] (Employment & Training Program) - nutrition assistance for eligible, low-income individuals and families (a social assistance program administered by the South Dakota Department of Social Service) who are considered able to work

Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program - a public assistance program for families with serious financial need
