Students who are enrolled in an in-school preparation program must be registered with their local school district. At the time the student is ready to take the GED® test, the prep coordinator must sign the Underage Testing Waiver form, which indicates the school has been notified and the student is being dropped from the student rolls. (The student will re-enroll until the test is complete.) The parent or guardian must also sign the form if the student is 16-17 years old.
The signed form must be submitted to:
South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation
700 Governors Drive
Pierre, SD 57501
Every testing candidate must create an account at gedcomputer.com.
Contact a local Testing Center for more information and assistance.
