There are a number of ways to hep reduce your premiums.
Raise your deductible. If you can afford it in the event of a claim, a $1,000 deductible should be considered.
See if you have other coverage extras that you may not need such as coverage for jewelry or guns.
Ensure your credit rating is good, as many insurance companies use credit as a factor in determining premiums. Although insurance companies use a slightly different rating system, ensuring that your credit is in good standing by ordering a credit report may be worthwhile.
Discuss with your agent what changes could be made to bring your premium down to a lower level.
